Indigenous languages have been on the verge of extinction for decades. Through efforts from the government, they have become almost obsolete in modern society.

It was a hot day in the swampy area of the Bayou Nwa in Louisiana.  As usual, the big city of New Poland was booming.

Basketball

Basketball is a big thing in my life

I wake up to basketball and I go to bed to It

You win and lose in basketball

Basketball is like a rollercoaster

I think it has its ups and downs

If only I could reach a little farther… I would grasp the moon and bring it closer to me.

If only I could reach a little farther…  I would touch Jupiter and calm its raging storm.

I’d stretch  from here to Baltimore.
I could have reached that switch,

Scratched that itch.
Crossed that bridge,

Climbed that ridge.
Tapped that shoulder.
