I’ve never been religious much —

My Faith is in the trees.

The sort of Lord I worship flies among the Bumblebees.

And my idea of Heaven is buried ‘neath Her leaves —

Have you ever met someone who truly feels like your other half? Who completes you? Not even romantically, I mean even a friend who mirrors your soul, reflecting back the sweetest parts. Well, I met one of these people last spring.

Diwali has come, sparkling all around

I am not upset anymore, as my relatives are here to surround

I gaze upon the lamp’s gleaming glow

Oh what a sight! What a wonderful show!

my mother's female CEO group chat blowing up 

four of my teachers taking the following day off 

Repair the world, 

pull off the patterned papers. 

Leave the walls all bare and empty, 

no toll, free entry.
