You can't skip over the third stair

if you're sneaking into the kitchen

because all the stairs creak,

just in different ways.

They don't talk about the light

in the closet

The right eye decays 
The left is beaming prisms 
            Sharp enlightenments 
Jargoning 3-D 
dust fragments, plaque erodes 

i was late for school because i ignored my alarm 

i ignored my alarm because i stayed up late 

i stayed up late because i pretended i did not have homework 

Fall often 

Stains our world brown, 

Leaves the color 

Of an old ruddy gold, 

Their tips dry, 

Crinkling with the cold
