Carefree Honeybee
Carefree Honeybee,
Don’t you see the hope you’ve given me?
I’ve climbed up and up and up but the end seems never closer, and I’m reaching reaching reaching for a dream that’s never there.

The First Light
In the First Light, I am stepping out into rays of golden sunlight, and I am floating through air that is buoyant with the songbird's melodies

Pulling some deeper into the promise of sleep

The second, 15.
I'm 18 now; how time flies, my lovely people.
And this is the last letter.

Eros' Arrow
When Eros shoots the heart of one
The piercing point of Beauty’s son
Borne of love and lust and loss
To pine for one’s a lover’s cost.

Tides
Drawn like a magnet,
the moon and the sea.
Water reaching for light,
stars shining in the night,
watching as the moon-
pulls away,
steering the water astray.
