  • The Sun, My Lost Friend

The sun, I think is like a friend that you have lost

One that you've drifted so far from, that it is impossible to return

Yet still its light shines on you, so blinding you must look away.

  • Mother Earth

In the cradle of the galaxy’s abyss, we float

Born and aged through evolutions, revolutions

The Earth has been here, and we are passengers on a never ending journey in our orbit round the sun

  • Lullaby

    Carried by the songbird’s wings

    Through forests bright, caverns dim,

    Flying in the wild wind.

Tears have been shed and goodbyes have been said

And the light is leaving from your eyes.

  • If Love was a Garden

If love was a garden, I’d let it grow wild

Because what use is love that’s tamed?

There, the honeybees would be the messengers, passing letters of sweet nothings from the sun to the flower’s soft buds

Loves

  • Apple Cider

I want to drink apple cider with you

    Like it’s a fine wine,

Make-believe adult, wrapped in your wool blanket,

Counting the minutes until your parents return.

  • The Ocean

    I’m at the ocean again,

and I feel at home again.

The salt breeze always reminds me of seaweed,

green string stitched into blue silk,

brown tangles piled on the rocks' edge.

  • An Inbetween

    Autumn sculpts the land,

    casting away Summer,

but through the cracks in the clay,

whispers of Summer haunt the day.

    The suns ray's seep down,

casting the red and orange leaves a glow.

  • Candy-Colored Leaves

"You're changing," I whisper to myself.

"So am I," whispers the wind.

    I think change is good.

Change is the way the air cools at night.

Change is the way I'm back at school again.
