Listening to the whispering breeze,
I watch shadows engulf the trees.
The moon is nowhere to be seen,
As the stars start to flicker green,

The colors run,
Like watercolor paint.
A cold goodbye from the sun.
As the moon rises in the east,

The explosion of a star,

away, you’ll never see it.
Though, in the death,

It depends on how you look at it;
For some, it is used interchangeably.
For others, "fall", simply because it is easier to spell and quicker to say

The Asters Are Out Again
The asters are out again, just in time for my birthday.
And each year on this day, I look back and wonder how a person can change so much, and how, without thinking, I suddenly am who I am.
