The Love of the Moon & Sun
My sun-
the only one,
I long for.
As the shore-
longs for the-
mysterious sea.
It’s secrets a key-
to the space between-
the moon and stars.
Vast like a ravine,
-
Fate
Many say fate is set in stone,
like hieroglyphs hung up on walls.
That tells stories to all.
Some say fate is crystal clear,
That it’s something not to fear.

The Artist of Fall
When night awakes sooner,
and the stars become brighter,
Fall descends onto the land.
Soon enough, winter will bring its false sand,
until then, the leaves paint the sky-
as the trees and wind begin to sigh.

Love
Love can take many forms.
It appears in the way the moon,
is drawn to the sea, creating storms-
showing their love, that won’t leave anytime soon.
It appears in the way the sun,

Loves
-
Cup of Blood
The idea of you is a spill of coffee on my cold lips
Within the protection of a sweater
On a maple afternoon
Though my cup did not hold transparency
-
A Celestial Affair
I have never quite been
Just as confused
Than on that quiet and sad afternoon
As I lay on the ground
And watched joy abound
As the sun danced around with the moon
Although it was day
-
Are you the moon?
With you, and with her
You’re radiant like the moon
What’s the difference?
Both of you are bright
Quiet, soft, delicate light
And so far away

Aurora
The great aurora in the sky
Colors lovely and bright,
Your mind takes flight
A feeling you can’t buy
But look between the color
Stray your eye,
Something quite duller
-
rainy day, angry god
outside the window
rain pelting the ground
high in the sky
Zeus is grumbling
inflicting his misery
upon poor mortals below
flooding their homes
once again
panic wrought their hearts
