There's something so special about friends you only see once a year, and you capture that feeling mixed with anticipation for the new year so beautifully. I hope you had a good trip :)
Thank you! I am actually the opposite about free verse, I've always felt like it was more effective/shows more feeling than if you were trying to find rhymes, but after reading your rhyming poetry, I've realized it can actually be done very beautifully! Yes, we are not alone and we can get through these next four years.
Thank you so much!!! I like to say that I don't really write my poetry - it just kinda comes out whenever and I have no control over what it's about. I observe a lot, which helps to understand...life...(?), and I also read A LOT A LOT!!! a lot of people tell me i'm very, like, mature and responsible when really i'm just trying to write about what I think the world is about, which sometimes it's not, and sometimes I don't know what to say! Thanks for your support!!!!!!!!!!!!! <33
I too have a gratitude journal. . . tired, not used enough yet worn out. It is a magical thing, writing like that.
It is magic, this power you wrote about. I still feel it even as my journal lies forgotten. When I open my bedroom window and breathe in the frozen air to pray, the gratitude often overwhelms me, as if my writing became words.
Come to think of it, maybe my gratitude journal is written among the stars.
I'd like to do something involving creative writing. I don't know what specific job yet. I'm hoping college can help me explore and then refine my options.
Gorgeous imagery I love this piece
A powerful piece

I love it, especially that last sentence . . . i have never felt more lost and found than when embracing the earth.
I just really love your work! <3
How can it be possible you obtain this wisdom. . . . far beyond your years,
The knowledge I have been searching for 16 years.

This is so pretty. The clouds look like jellyfish in the ocean.
