First one seems it would tackle a more rival/enemies to lovers trope with a slow burn, and second one seems more scandal/lies oriented. I'm a personal fan of the second choice because of the drama
Sounds awesome! I'd start by writing out scenes you see in your head about any part of this story, (is there a battle you want to have happen, a cool creature she meets) and fleshing out Em's character and the rest of the characters! Creating character's is my favorite part of writing a story and as you create their strengths and flaws a might get inspiration for a plot/goal/main dilemma might catch your eye for why they need to save the world, and how they will do it. I'd definitely read your bookm, it sounds really interesting already!
An excellent story! The way you slowly revealed the mystery and the narration of what was happening, I was hooked to the end. And what a sad bittersweet ending it was! Keep writing!
yeah I didn't know what it was until now but I kinda had the feeling something like this was building up, trying to kill everyone who's not the Aryan ideal. I know Trump will deny that he's like Hitler, but...coming from a lesbian Jew, I will hit the wrong buzzer on that one!

Now I wanna read the book series. Lovely poem!
I had the most beautiful image of trains over oceans and a man who painted the sky. It definitely made me smile. Keep writing!
These line breaks are awesome. Lovely piece

I love the line "I have learned to allow myself to change."A powerful line
I love this poem, especially the first two lines. Finding someone with these beautiful qualities is a rare and precious find. Eloquently written
thank you so much!
