Thank you so much! It's an honor that my little lions got to be the first piece of poetry you saw. (PS: Poetry is probably one of my favorite writing styles, so if you need any free verse book/poetry analogy/pieces of poetry/poet recommendations, I'm always ready!)
I think it's important to not force yourself. If you feel like writing something, and you can't think of the words or the phrases to make it sound nice, just write. It may come out bad or it may come out good, but the result isn't what matters. What matters is that you say what you want to say in the moment. Then that moment of self reflection will dawn upon you after you have finished writing what you wanted to.
Also another important thing to keep in mind just in general: Failure is an important lesson, and going through failure is what actually develops a person to become a writer. It's just that you have to make that choice of whether you want to face your fears or not.
Short story short, just write.
(because you'll come out as a stronger person in the end if you keep going at it)
This a really nice piece. It's been a while since I read poetry, and I'm glad that this is one of the first pieces I got to read coming back to it. Keep on writing lion!
As soon as I finished reading this, I had to read it again. It's so perfect, so beautiful, and so good at making you think. I love it!!!
This sounds amazing, I'm definitely going to read it!
I also quite enjoy Gary Snyder, Robert Frost, and Emily Dickinson.
If you are looking for nature-loving poets, they are for you!
Love the way you colored it!
Thank you, I really needed to hear something like this!
