Hi! A magic system revolving animals sounds so cool. If you're going for like a based around gods system, I suggest animal gods or if you're drawing on just magic, maybe the animals could help harness abilities or give magic users their abilities? Almost like a witch's familiar lol. I hope this helped and you don't have to take any of my ideas if they're bad lol, good luck writing!
