Ahh, this has always been one of my very favorite methods of shaking myself out of writer's block: writing about writer's block itself! Clearly you've broken through whatever barrier was in your way because you've wound up with a wonderful piece, and your sense of humor really shines through!

"You are at peace." Peaceful it is. This poem so well highlights winter's quiet beauty, something easy to lose sight of when the gray days seem neverending... Lovely read.

Thank you!

Wow! This poem intrigues me--who/what is it about? I love and the imagery of the jar and your use of questions to create a desperate tone.

What a beautifully fraught scene! I love your use of sensory detail and repetition (misstep/misfortune).

I love how you captured the feeling of being a friend in the "now" but also in the "always."

DEFINITELY read The Inheritance Games! They're what got me out of a reading rut and got me into mystery

What a journey you take us on! The reader can't help but root for your success. I like the varied repetition halfway through!

I love the Song of Achilles! It's so poetic and really immerses the reader in the story.
