I know it's the 24th today, but how about a poem written from the POV of another planet, talking about how strange yet beautiful our planet is and\or why humans are slowly destroying it. (Sorry that's a little dark.)
I really like Nora Ephron's hilarious collection of essays turned into a memoir - it's called I Feel Bad About My Neck (and other thoughts about being a woman) and is probably one of the funniest books I've ever read.
This is a set of perfect contradictions and beautiful questions. It leaves me wondering and hungering for more.
