Hey guys, I accidentally broke my phone, and found out that you will be much, much, much less miserable on a daily basis if you quit your phone cold turkey. Thought I'd let you all know.

only a dumb phone for me lol and i'm good with that

I didn't get one until high school - at this point I'm glad I have it as it definitely makes my life easier, but I wish that I had more self-control lol

I know this, but unfortunately it is much easier said than done :/

same reason why I stopped watching YouTube and other social media apps, it just makes you feel so much lighter :)

Yeah my parents took my screen time away for a week or two and I found that I became much more creative and just involved in my life. Obviously screens provide a great distraction, but not using them so much allows more room for connecting with people and coming up with ways to entertain yourself! I know it's super hard to de-addict yourself though :/
