Why?
Have you ever felt the weight of an unspoken word?
Because I sure have.
The word “Why” can mean a lot of things…
But for me, it means Why do I feel this way?

I am the forgotten dead.
I have no friends and no roof over my head.
I am the forgotten girl that you only hear about in stories and books.

I will always be a girl of many scars.
But love can teach me to forgive.
Love can give me many reasons for why I should live.
It can even change me, for better or for worse.
