The feeling bittersweet

Like lemonade

A feeling you may meet

The pressure will fade

Of letting someone go

Someone dear

For you truly know

Despite your fear

Your love is like a zipper

Though far, truly near

Don’t be fearful or whimper

But it’s ok if there’s a tear

Pain can be forgiven

The abashed can be mended

Don’t let it keep you from living

Your relationship isn’t ended

Though sometimes they need to leave for a bit

That doesn’t mean goodbye

Look at the world, it’s still lit!

Lit up like the night sky

The person will tiptoe through your mind

They dance upon your heart
