On that night,
I saw the stars
in waves of black and blue
weaving through my vision

Dire wolves are wolves who were extinct. They were bigger than the average gray wolf, and had a wider head, and strong jaws.

oceans cough up plastic in its lungs,
skies choke on smoke

eggs that are the cost of two books
all of my life necessities in food
gone
replaced with
hard,
crunchy,
