I love the way I can hear the trees breathe if I listen hard enough

I love sunshine after a cloudy day

I love hiking through mountains that touch the clouds

I love the way the ocean sounds at night

Even though

If you could become an animal what animal would it be? Would you retain your human mind? Write about a day in the body of an animal.

To kiss another’s tears is to drink a poison of your own creation, 

Thoughtful, carefully crafted, and yet stings just the same.

To kiss another's tears is to be in a desert full of drought,

Write a poem with two stanzas, about your favorite childhood character. The first stanza should be about what you thought of the as a child, and the second what you think of them now. 

Summer, here at last. 
Long days, sunlight, 
Mosquito bites and beaver dams. 

Maple creemees, flower gardens, 
camping and swimming, under the summer sun.
