Now, I know it may seem common, even shallow —  
to answer with such a simple thing, 

but 'tis what draws my heart — 
the Fox, silver fur, dancing in moonlight. 

as I sit here – 
deep in the forest, bathed in shadow, 

watching the leaves fall, 
tell me, why does the earth end in such a pretty display? 

I holler to the trees, 
they answer with a rustle 

here I sit-
bathed in darkness
trapped beyond reach of the sun

I do not touch the poor creatures they cast into my darkness
flesh does not satiate me
so I chew on my rage

Autumn! She's here at last, sweeping about the earth in a whirlwind of color.
Now turn the days to cool, and the nights to cold!

At last, school is over. Finally I am released by these awful white walls and artificial light.

it's here – prepared or not, the time has come. 
we are scared, frightened beyond belief 

here is the day when we must go, 
must take our undergrown wings and fly.
