Magnus Grace

I have never been a poet,

But for you I will try.

Unknown is the world we live in 

How deep is the ocean?

How big is the universe? 

It's unknown 

So why try to figure it out?

Why try to swim deeper than you can?

It is started by a piece of paper

written in blue pen ink

smeared as it is folded twice

passed to a friend.

Purple marker replies to blue pen

folded up the same way as before;

Technically, I’m an immigrant;  

I wasn't born here. 

Technically, I’m too young, 

just shy of a year. 

Technically, I’m inexperienced, 

barely know the rudiments. 

      she doesn’t        exist but as

a small dream sinking through me

that the night is quiet endlessness;

every night i lie in Bed

and wonder what you Think about -

am i the Dream that’s in your head

or are you fast asleep?
