All Humans are Created Equal
We stood up to a tyrant once.
And now it’s time to again.
We need to stand up for the rights we were supposed to get so long ago.
“All men are created equal.”

My Community
The people around me, my friends, my family, my peers.
I see them every day, barely talk to most of them.

We are the People
We are the people.
The girl who wears every scar like a trophy.
The boy who struggles with reading.

Lady Liberty
This statue is a woman.

Weeping Willows
The weeping willow shimmers, the water droplets gleaming in her sunlit hair.
A dryad floats above her, in the air.
They unify, becoming one.
In Summer, the Willow cries with joy, enjoying the sun. -
Just Your Child
To be your child.
What would it mean to be your child?
Would you still be proud?
And when they refuse to treat me right,
Would you stand up and be loud?

Stars
A girl stood alone
on the edge of the world,
scared to fall,
but somehow she could not leave
Her heart pounding,
Her chest screaming,
