I was running down the street when it started to rain
So I took out my hearing aids.
The world quieted around me.

each foot fall

Right now we are living in a world where we use fossil fuels to run our lives. But this needs to change!

we're doing a poetry unit.
"Oh cool, we write poetry all the time!"
My friend says.
What we didn't realize, though,
was that the teacher turned on the tap
to our inner selves

and my parents ask how my day was
my answer is almost always
"Irritating"

"Bad"

"A pain in the butt".
Why?
Because my classmates will
