The sun rises on a new dawn.
The moon retreating over the horizon.
To glow anew on the other side.
Always in motion.
never meeting.
Always hidin.
Night and Day living in harmony.

I was waiting outside of my school's main doors ready for the school day to start. At last kids start flocking the doors and I follow suit.

Hard, cold white tiles lined with blue ones
Walls painted a bland white
This is my cage.

At school
we're doing a poetry unit.
"Oh cool, we write poetry all the time!"
My friend says.
What we didn't realize, though,
was that the teacher turned on the tap
to our inner selves

It's unknown
So why try to figure it out?

When I come home from school
and my parents ask how my day was
my answer is almost always
"Irritating"

"Bad"
or
"A pain in the butt".
Why?
Because my classmates will
