People warned me,
turned against me,
said I was a fool.

It's Time
I’m fine.
I know I’m crying,
but that’s normal.

I look around
How did I
Get here

How did we
Get here
To this place of
Rioting
Festering
Loathing
Hatred
When I was young

An Idea
It is started by a piece of paper
written in blue pen ink
smeared as it is folded twice
passed to a friend.
Purple marker replies to blue pen
folded up the same way as before;

Technically...
Technically, I’m an immigrant;
I wasn't born here.
Technically, I’m too young,
just shy of a year.
Technically, I’m inexperienced,
barely know the rudiments.
