Out of Tune
What used to be my everything
has now turned into what feels almost like a burden.

Construction Zone
I’m currently being serenaded by hammering from my mom’s bedroom upstairs. They're still working on that bathroom. You know, the one that was supposed to be done last month.
Well, two months ago, actually.

an endless voice
When I try to tell you about it
you act like a clown.
You just want to see me happy

somewhere between midnight and june
Lying awake at midnight, watching as each blade of the fan spins around, one by one. My bed absorbs me as I think, "hey, maybe I should write something".

golden like the sun
blooming in the spring
till they turn to fuzz

But now the nights glow
with lights that never sleep.

Fall In
Past the burning day,
at bedtime when I shrug off sleep,
when I've got school the next morning, and I shouldn't be here,

alive
The stars are reflected in the glimmer of the headlamp's light on the snow
And the air is frozen-- it feels like the sensation of holding your hand under water so burning hot that
it begins to feel cold
somehow.
