some people say that every time you make a choice, an alternate dimension is created where you made a different one

this may or may not be true in the real world, we might never know

it's certainly true in my mind

I’m not a painter 

But if I was 

I would paint masterpieces 

And tell a story within each frame 

I would create a piece of art 

What will they think of us?

200 years into our future

Long after our stories have faded,

After our lives' missions have been put to rest,

What makes me stop and wonder is how are we even here? 

How am I even writing this?

What miracle allowed us to come into existence?

Better question, why us?

Why not the sharks, the birds, the insects?

What would it be like

to see the rainbow?

To stand beneath it,

soak in the colorful

mistakes it bleeds.

What would it be like,

to have someone else

My dad was a super hero. One weekend out of every month. 

I wonder what it would be like to not love you.

What would happen if I let go?

I didn't hold on tight enough when it counted,

and now I'm stuck not able to let the rest of you slip through the cracks. 

I often wonder how plants feel. It’s hard to comprehend how there can be living organisms that don’t seem alive, such as trees. So still and silent. I remember the house plant growing from a seed, but it seems unbelievable.

One thing that made me stop and wonder these past weeks is power lines, which is weird, I know, but I have a logical question too. Why did they put power lines above ground?

Something that makes me stop and wonder is the thought that everybody sees the world through their own perspective.

Sometimes driving makes me wonder 

Sitting in a big tin box, travelling faster than a hare

Until I reach traffic and crawl along slower than a tortoise

We spend so, so much time

Moving from one place to another
