Ahh, "the boxes are in the corner" has me thinking of the sometimes intentional and sometimes unintentional act of compartmentalization... Right, it sure does feel like thoughts and memories and questions can begin to loom over our shoulders some days, stack up like they would in a stuffy attic full of junk you can't let go of. The last lines of this poem, an open window to escape from, was the perfect image to end on.
What a thoughtful story! It's been so long since I've read anything featuring animals as characters, so that was a nice suprise. There's a real sense of community in this rabbit-world that you've built, and by the end we can see how just how much of a compassionate individual Bonnie is. I think there's so much to be expanded on if you carry on the story, you've set yourself up so well already!
This is really perfectly relatable, you've written it in a beautifully simple and matter of fact way, so that it somehow still feels nostalgic. I'm a senior this year so the counting down time really hit home :) Those small moments you've written down are so perfectly important. Beautiful job :)

I've had to make a new schedule for when I do things non school related like exercise, writing, ect. I'm trying to prioritize the things that fulfill me, not just my schoolwork.
I stared 8th grade this year. It's only the 3rd week and I've already asked for an extension. It's a big deal to be in 8th grade at my school and there are many leadership opportunities. But it just hit me it's my very final year of middle school and it feels bittersweet. But this will prepare me for high school and greater things!
