Somehow you've managed to find a stretch of woods that feature every fall color at once: red, orange, gold, green... This is beautiful, especially in contrast with the blue of the sky!

Your rhyme scheme is superb! And you've really captured the spirit of the season -- October's state of transition, and the joys that accompany that change.

This DOES sound like the perfect movie night! There's nothing quite like a cozy pillow fort and a good scary movie. The formatting of this poem made it more fun to read!

TJ Klune books always are so good! Have you read Under the Whispering Door or the new sequel to House in the Cerulean Sea?

Thanks! We tried to make it look like magic; as in a fleeting spark of light leaving too soon.

Thank you. It primarily revolves around the idea of becoming a stranger to yourself. Life events can lead you to lose touch with who you once were, making you feel disconnected from yourself.

I have to agree with you. My sibling is on her I-pad way to much watching Netflix and other stuff. I (on a week day) tend to spend between 2-3 hours on the TV or my desktop, while my sibling has about 10 hours! Her weekend times make my  times look small. If I'm bingeing a show (10-12 hours) I get off after I finish mean while my sibling tends to spend 20 hours a day on her I-pad. It is crazy! Makes me feel old.
