Thank you so much! This was actually my Christmas present for my friend group and I'm so glad they all, and you, like it so much!!!!!!!!!!!!! This means so much to me <3
There's a gentleness and sensitivity to this piece that give me tender feels. Somehow, you've made crying tragically beautiful. This poem feels like an expression of pure love and acceptance.
Reading this direct challenge to the preposterous "Well what was she wearing?" argument made me want to pump my fist in the air. Clothes are used to victimize and justify, but they are sham excuses for the intrusion of others' eyes and bodies (but I'm preaching to a choir). The repetition/the title too, I love; you sardonically but firmly identify yourself as the sole person you make decisions for, not those around you.
"Water Droplets" (first photo) is this week's featured visual art on vtdigger.org, up now in their Life & Culture section! Everyone can check it out now, here! vtdigger.org/life-culture
"Droplets Forever Alive" is this week's featured poem on vtdigger.org, up now in their Life & Culture section. Everyone can check it out now, here! vtdigger.org/life-culture
Oh my good gosh. Seriously, I cannot deal with how good this is. Like, it's so real and beautiful and amazing. Just great job in general. That was an incredible read.

Dang, nice shot! They're especially striking against the backdrop of gray. I always make a wish when I see a double rainbow.

Thank you so much, that's really reassuring
Thanks :)
Definitely not! Poetry is whatever the writer needs it to be, and what you write is just that. Everything I read of yours is wonderful!
