I still use a variation of my high school ID card number as a password to this day (I'm 31)! Interesting to think about the ways in which we develop attachments and add meaning to such inconsequential things sometimes.

Almost like a vortex into another world, and he's disappearing behind it! The distortion of the background adds to the overall effect of the piece.

The shadow-play on your ceiling is so geometric and cool! I wonder if you would see a subtler version if you turned on the light.

I feel it too. The despair. I appreciate your last two lines, your determination to come together with others and still try to make a difference. And I hope you do let yourself cry if that's what you need to do; it can be so cathartic.
