I am a justifiably mad fan of anything Wonderland-iful, and the ending definitely goes in that book!!! This is a funny and excellent story with a great, punny twist at the end. keep writing!
no don't be sorry the world is freaking pitch black right now. I didn't see the trans rights thing but one of my very good friends is gay and trans, another is non-binary, and they both get a lot of hate JUST IN OUR OWN GRADE for it, so yeah, please don't let him get reelected, for the sake of everyone. even though desantis dropped out of the race, it'd be like him and florida all over again; suddenly our country would lose so much of its melting pot diversity because so many of the LGBTQIA2+ people would flee for their own safety. it does feel so nice though to be in this ywp community surrounded by people who are so different than me but share the same fears and wonders. (ps I am strangely glad you're also a queer Jewish person. is that weird?)

Thank you so much! I named the cat Marmalade for that exact reason to work in a little of my bad humor, haha!
Thank you!
Thanks! I feel like sometimes you realize that the moment where and when you are is a perfect photo, and this was totally one of those moments.
I just wrote a poem about a really hard breakup I went through, and here’s some lines that really stood out to me:
I tried to be enough for you
But this could never be.
When you left me
You tore out my heart.
I gave you my trust
And you lied to my face.
I struggle to heal
From this hole in my chest.
It holds me back
Just like you did
As I try to progress
In my relationships.
Hi, here's a few lines I wrote recently:
It’s been over two years now
But some nights
It feels like there’s a
Gaping wound
In my heart
Shredding me to pieces from the inside
Beautiful collection of observations. I particularly like that first stanza!
Brilliant twist at the end. And an excellent exegesis of the psychology of storytelling!
Wow, this is incredible!
