i've been thinking about this a lot recently, and i realize that most of my poems are written within a 5-15 minute time period, because i am usually afraid of losing the idea. sometimes, i will write down a few lines or just a basis of the poem and then ignore it until inspiration strikes. amelia and i have a document that we share with ideas and poems and i find it really helpful to have a spot to keep all of that organized.
currently, i've been listening to a lot of billie eilish. her music really helps me through my writing process. my favorite song is probably blue.
