The assortment of objects here is so fun! Especially with seeing the shadow they create.

So many lines stuck out to me in this piece, the whole thing through was really so vivid:

"North winds exhaling dragon breath..."

"Smoky air crisp in my mouth, rolling on my tongue..."

"Shine yellower than the goldenrod by the side of the highway..."

Wonderfully descriptive language!

This is a truly beautiful sentiment. It took me a minute to realize you were speaking about yourself, and when I did, it made me so happy for you. Keep on loving yourself, and we'll all try to do the same!

Yes! Sometimes it takes me a really long time to come up with the right use and sometimes I never do. I don't actually have any advise but this is totally something I relate to.

Thank you! No, this was not written for experience - a lot of my poetry is written in consideration of other people's problems; not only my own. However, thank you for appreciating the depth and beauty of my poem! I did write it from the heart.

I absolutely love your interpretation of the challenge! As someone else commented, this sounds like medicine for the soul, which is something I think everyone needs. Very touching poetry:)
