yes. this is so horrifyingly real. my family is perfectly great with my queerness but homophobia is so deeply ingrained in society and our minds from the moment we're born that every single time I search something related to the LGBTQIA2+ community I have to truly force myself to not press delete on the search bar after I finish looking. and that's on good days.
white straight cis people don't truly understand (oh they may say they do but give me some water and get them out of my sight; they don't know how to be honest) how horrible even the barest bones of society is to our community. WE ARE HUMAN TOO. WE ARE PERFECT.

Thank you so much!!! I always strive to be as descriptive and fluid as possible; I love poetry that lets the lines bleed into each other like ink stains. I really do think of my poetry as a 'freefall', so thanks for noticing!!!
