me neither! i was in first grade and i can't bring back many of the details - mostly i remember having to sit with the plastic dividers at our tables and endless reading of greek mythology books on my bedroom floor, and the world-changing-ness of it all - but the feeling of this is the most important moment of my life has definitely been replaced with this new apocalypse, yay :(
ooh that's a great question! i like to read and write more medium length and short poetry. long ones can never hold my focus for the whole thing - it has to be really captivating and creative ("Falling" by James Dickey is one of these stand outs!) but i think as long as it's a good poem, i don't care about the length :D
Exactly! I totally thought it would be the highest part of my life forever but it really doesn’t feel that way. I can’t really remember what it’s like to find 5 masks in a coat pocket or have to watch movies during lunch to not talk
it really did! it felt like the world was only the pandemic and forever had been and always would be - I remember thinking I would recall all the details for my whole life, but looking back, those two years are like holes in my memory
thank youu!!
thank you so much!!
I prefer to read shorter for the most part because I find them easier to digest, but I prefer to write longer poems!
I really love the way you connected "cold as ice" to every part! it fits perfectly and I think its so creative
this is so creative i love it!
