Yeah I thought it was a great challenge! I had just been on kind of a road trip with my friend when this came out and thats kinda how we ended up on the way home lol so that was my motivation behind this piece. I thought about writing a little like story to go with it not like my personal experience but a story to go with these characters, and then I never did
I love how you bring the reader to fairytales and dreams from childhood, and then switch the tone and compare adult dreams to this, saying they are the same, but now our fairytales aren't as exciting as when we are children, yet we still crave that ability to dream. Absolutely love this!
