This is so familiar to me — when I was young my family used to go to a house in Maine every summer, until the family that owned it suddenly stopped renting it. Your descriptions of the nostalgia of a childhood home are impeccable and beautifully done!
I'm in OH, and I was very confused for a solid like hour when people started talking about spring break lol. Ours is in a week though its usually around Easter
Looking for some honest advice here, is the rhyming too basic/cliche? And is there anything else I should change, I feel like it's not quite clicking right. Thxxx
Yeah same. My grandparents watch fox news and they never stop talking about it, and it can get frustrating sometimes. I've just stopped watching the news lately because of the stress it causes though.
Oh, Fox news. I read mostly NYT, some CNN. My great grandma watches Fox and is pro Trump and we all roll our eyes at her. It was funnier when he wasn’t president.
Yea same! Once I procrastinated an assignment for six months and did it in 13 hrs the weekend before the due date. But then I wrote half of a book in those six months lol
omg same it's awful. except I live in Texas so most people who support a political candidate like to try to force their opinions onto others and it sucks because they only read one specific news channel that says a lot of lies and they refuse to believe anything else that does not support their viewpoint
Thank you so much! It's at once a comforting and melancholy feeling to have nostalgia for a childhood home. I'm glad you could relate. :)

I've felt this way too, you're not alone

Same, except I'm on spring break right now in Texas.
