So many skies lived upon the ocean

Stars sparkled above and beneath

Fish and birds glide alike

Foam and clouds, fluffy and white

Life thrived below with colors

sweat rolling down my back,

ice cold once it meets frozen peas,

pressed on my lower back,

water ring on the wooden table,

seltzer chilly and fresh,

computer complaining about the heat,

We waste our lives

Searching

For our reason

Of existence

Never realizing

There isn’t one

We’re all just living

Red cardinals flutter, a vibrant spry 

The rosy petals of a blooming rose 

A wildfire dances the sky 

Crimson strawberries sundry groves  

summer awakens that joy in me

not the kind

people attempt to attribute to poetry

(go read some poems,

idiots,

go find out that poets

aren't always joyful,

go discover that sadness

A gentle summer wind 

blows

Waking me from my

Silent

Sleep.

I feel small

Cracks

And hear small

Pops 

In my body. A 

Satisfying

Sensation
