Fainting Goat

Anger boils through my veins

Like a ferocious fire

Inextinguishable

And when it finally settles into a dull flame

A wave of pain rushes over me

And I'm fully extinguished

We are the generation

That is falling apart

Breaking down

Flowing towards 

A lake full of blood

Classmates feel the sting

Of a bullet pierced through a mind

Still learning how to be a grown up

Your eyes are dark like midnight, filled with millions of tiny stars

and I don't know what to say to you, what to do

because when I see you,

my

heart 

breaks,

not in two but in so many scattered pieces,
