I walk into my sister's room

And look in her full-length mirror

I don't have one in my room anymore

And I pick out each nuance, each perfect detail

In semester one of ninth grade, I met my newest obsession. In semester two, I suffered the consequences.

She watched me–sorrowful

I walked away

It pained me so, but I could not stay

Any longer, I would’ve been cold to the touch

After it all, we became just too much

She was heavenly!

 I do have a notion,

That her nuances are nothing but pure perfection,

In all its greatest forms.

Her echoed incandescence

As the incandescent light is reflected on the rippling water, I am swarmed by blissful memories of us.

“Nothing is more beautiful than the stars,” I say.
