Tiny Writes
Are there any movies or shows that you consider life changing for you? The movie boyhood for me was remarkable and had a large impact on my life. Better call saul has also been influential, the way the emotion is caputured is just breath taking for me. The story of call me by your name is also really good. I could talk about movies for a long time.

Glee had a big impact on me, I think!!
for me, the film "breakfast of champions" by the director Alan Rudolph completely changed me. It just hit me at the right time, and the ending just had such an impact on me the first time I watched it, and it's something I think of all the time. I also love the 1968 Thomas Crown Affair with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, the music with the plot works so well. Movies can make you feel so much.
This probably sounds corny but honestly Grey’s Anatomy because it made me think about the medical field a lot and now I’m pursuing a career in medicine! I actually don’t really like when people assume that my favorite show is the reason I want to go into medicine because it’s not the only or even main reason, but it is a big part of it!
I grew up on the Muppets and I really do think that made a big impact on me in so many ways, not the least of which being that I love to break the fourth wall and I keep discovering songs from established musicals that I thought were invented by these puppets. Also, Mel Brooks movies. All of them. What more is there to say?
Kind of generic, but Frozen was one of the many themes of my childhood - I had a small obsession over it, but not to the Halloween costume level. Also Olaf Presents and a couple of other Pixar shorts, including For the Birds and the short with the guy who gets abducted by aliens (I forgot what it was called).
As someone who was Elsa for halloween - I feel called out lol
real :D
yess Olaf Presents!!! I was also a Frozen child and would strut up and down the living room singing the songs all the time :p
Same!!
Harry Potter and How To Train Your Dragon. I know Harry Potter is such a generic one but both of them were instant rewatches for me. I loved the themes in them, and I learned most of my vocab from HP - although I had to figure out how to stop adding extra vowels to some of the words - and both were just monumental in my childhood. I often look back at them for metaphors or comfort still!
omg i was about to comment and say call me by your name until i saw you wrote that! absolute favorite movie ever <3 some movies that i feel have a somewhat similar atmosphere are portrait of a lady on fire and atonement. i also recently watched the hamnet movie, and the book was better (as always) but it was still really good!!
