Love how you compare the different drums to different aspects of a storm. This is super weird, but it reminds me a little of some of the extended similes in homer which often have to do with storms --- and also break the storm up into different aspects.
This is one of the most beautiful pieces of poetry I've read in a while. The way you broke the lines was perfect, I love how much self was put into it. Amazing.
Woah! This is SUCH a good start to a book! Can't believe I only just found this while digging through YWP's writing section (I just joined this community.) I hope you've continued to write this over the past few years, because it's beautiful!
I love your imagery: how you build the scene with every letter of your name, spelling your life out for us. That last line is stunning-- connecting to me and many many others-- beautiful, as if you are reaching out in that final moment, out of the bustling crowd and into yourself.

Never Trust a Gemini is a wonderful and light lesbian read set in the U.K. The audiobook is also wonderful. Forget Me Not is sapphic and deelpy sad.
Forget me Not is a wonderful and sad book!
I love this collage so much. It captures your personality and I love the photography, it's amazing. :)

Thanks!
This is such a cool perspective! I really like the color tones, too.
I'll make sure to check that out! Thanks for the recommendation!
