I agree - I know I'll feel more comfortable soon but it's definitely a bit nervous and intimidating at the beginning of the year - it feels like forever since my semester ended too! Not silly at all! I think there is a difference, but it can also be very similar. I think some songs have lyrics that aren't poet lines but their repeated in a cool way. Other lyrics I think can be read as spoken word and have the same effect. Same goes for rap I think its interesting to see how rap and spoken word poetry are different and also similar
