Yeah, totally agree. On a phone, the YWP website doesn’t show the search icon, which is super annoying. If there was and app, that would probably be fixed.

There can be such intense catharsis and release in putting pen to paper and letting your emotions flow freely onto the page. And I couldn't have described that process any better than you did. I really love that you allowed the benefits of poetry and the creative process to fuel and inspire you into writing a whole new poem about it itself!
Personally, I like to slow down what's happening. Don't be afraid to use incomplete sentences or italics or bold to really emphasize what's happening, play-by-play. Really zone in on the senses (a) character(s) feeling, what they're thinking, etc. Put yourself in their situation and dump out, even if it's messy, the most raw reaction you can.
