Tiny Write by Fainting Goat, September 6 2024

1. Humanities. I love English and this class is basically a combination of English and history which means we have two teachers. The people in this class are also really cool and I like the teachers alot.
2. So far Algebra 1 because I'm awful at math but I like the teacher and students or Integrated Science which I like the subject of but so far its kind of boring. My school does different classes each semester and I have a feeling my least favorite this year will be PE which I have next semester 
3. Humanities again. It's my only year long class and I just think it will be really fun.
4. I'm a Freshman 
5. Some days lunch is fine, others not so much. There's always pizza though so I think I'll stick to that most days. I really like the people I eat with though and my school has a cafe where you can get frozen yogurt for like a dollar so its not all bad.
6. Not really any fun facts, this was really fun to do though :)

1. A year long singing class with 11th and 12th graders. 
2. AP Statistics. There are so many new concepts I have to learn and the homework takes a long time.

5. Our school lunch is ok. Some days are better than others. 
6. I'm in Model UN and in January we go on a trip to Philly so I'm excited for that. 

1. ELA is the best class by far
2. Spanish because the teacher can't manage the classroom 
3. Maybe getting to work in the State House as a Page
4. 8th grade, but I'm mostly homeschooled so it doesn't matter
5. The food at my school sucks, but I'm in an under privileged part of VT so it's good that we have it at all because some of the kids only eat school food
6. I'm on the Vermont State Youth Council  

1. Definitely ELA, because I love reading and writing and I like my teacher!
2. MATH, because it makes NO sense - what the heck is linear algebra?? Am I crazy??
3. Probably ELA all-around all the time, but maybe Science (we're doing a unit on astronomy and it's supercool)
4. I'm in seventh grade
5. YUCK. I mean, pizza day is good, but most other days...the mystery meat is scary!
6. I LOVE Band. I play in the Wind Ensemble and I've made a few new friends in the grade above me, plus it's really cool to play alongside other musicians. I play the flute, and I love our Wind Ensemble because it combines seventh and eighth grade, so I'm learning a lot from the more experienced players by even just sitting next to them sometimes, plus we sound pretty cool. I'm also in the co-curricular Stage Band, and I'm going to audition for the Districts festival in a few weeks (wish me luck)!

1. ELA or Social Studies because I love to read and write and the SS teacher is super nice!
2. Probably Health because the teacher isn't very imposing or commanding (waaay too nice to handle middle school) and the kids are all idiots.
3. Our classes don't change much through semesters, but (fingers crossed they can find a director) there's the musical!!! I LOVE performing and I hope I get in!
4. I'm in sixth grade: pretty fun but the start-up to the learning has taken LITERALLY ALL THE TIME I HAVE BEEN IN SCHOOL SO FAR THIS YEAR. we haven't learned anything basically
5. Lunch is fine but our breakfast is trying to murder us. on Friday the offer was a smoothie that was purplish seedy water with GRANOLA mixed in. why.
6. Umm...a fun fact about my district is that we are so understaffed for school bus drivers sometimes there just aren't buses and you have to figure out how to get home yourself? kinda scary tbh

Fun questions! 

1. I'm taking "Medieval and Mughal India," and the prof is amazing!  The class covers material that is adjacent to what I study, but that I haven't been exposed to much. 
2. That's hard, probably my senior thesis. Does that count? 
3. I don't know what's being offered yet, but hopefully my department will have "Attic Prose," like they normally do winter quarter.   
4. I'm a senior at university! 
5. I'm lucky I'm no longer in high school :) 
6. My school was crazy enough to let me teach Latin last quarter --- which I was totally unqualified for. 

• I love Global Literature. The teacher is super enthusiastic and engaging!
  
  I have a strong love-hate relationship with French class because of my poor language skills

  I love to draw and I am taking a drawing class so super excited for that!
