To Fall Into a Book
To Fall Into a Book
Never have I ever
Ridden a horse
Fallen in love
Flown on clouds
Worn dresses of silk
Met elves
Bowed to kings
Spoken to fairies
Petted dragons
Seen a glass castle
Channeled magical powers
But I would like to,
To be inside a mythical land,
To be swept away by charming princes
To drink water straight from a river
To approach animals that aren’t scared of me
To have a happy ending
To fall into a book.
Because although it will never come true,
I have fallen in love with the world inside my book.
