I grew up in a world surrounded by love 

Hugs in the morning and kisses before bed

Fears shared out loud 

Tears wiped away by a warm hand

Walks among the trees every single weekend

Art filled my life

I have always had my definition of cool. In elementary school, I would hang out with the stereotypical cool kids. I played three sports, with my skills ranging from decent, to pretty good.

Your fur the color of orange cream intertwined with gold,

your radiant mane tinged with saffron billowing in the wind,

you are the mighty king of the savanna,

you are

prideful, regal, elegant.

I love you like the sun loves the moon

The kind of love that only exists in the in-betweens

Between day and night

Because love is a spectrum

And I don't love you at the end of it

I love you in that sweet spot
