We the People Are the Fixers
“We the people”
Encapsulates everyone.
Not those of a certain party
Not those of a certain race
Not those of a certain background
It was purposefully written
To include everyone.

The Pain of Broken Friendship
A mini-canvas of me and her in a faceless painting style lies face down in the corner of my bookshelf. It took a month or two to turn over, but I still have the canvas. We made it at her house during a sleepover.

Both love and hate are free, and easy
But love makes people feel good;

I am with my best friend, at her kitchen table, trying to tell her about a hard time I'm having.

Camp Feelings
I’m at a seminar, for leadership.

a letter from ninestars to my friends
I come here to
express myself
semi-anonymously,
but freely
and happily.
My laptop is
bombarded with
tabs, one of which
is YWP.

I may not
write a poem

continue to put together
our puzzle
piece by piece.
And that puzzle?
The final picture is
freedom.
It spells out the
word, each letter
in blue

the thunder part of the rain

She flourished under the bright star,
smiled at its rise.
But then the next day,
it rained.
Hard.
Like a thunderstorm.
