Why does the world pretend to act like nothing bad is happening?

Why does the government, meant to safeguard the people, suddenly make this a monarchy?

I find it stupid that some people think that this is all fine and dandy.

I’ll say it: I hate our president

All my life, people have written me off as

“different”

“possessed” and

“antisocial”

And while yes

I am different

I am not possessed

I am disabled

We all hold hands with murderous intent

the line between good and evil

like 

I will kneel on broken glass as 

my blood stains the pearly sheen so that 

you will see I've resorted to my last option: begging 

before you (as a woman should be) to rip 

I've heard that hope is a Vicious thing 

It claws its way up from the soil of Contempt and Despair 

It brings with it the Memories of a past life and the Longing for a future

    The last time I saw Her.  It feels so much more final to say it that way, but I guess it’s the same outcome either way.  When I think about it logically, I can understand that She’s never coming
