I try

to strive in life

it's hard.

I've learned

that a concept

like life is hard to grasp

you have to learn to hold it, but

She was a smart girl

She was pretty

She was kind

She was hard to get

The only thing in the world she lacked

Was how to be in a relationship

She sat alone at lunch

She walked alone in P.E.

I’ve been smiling. And smiling– because that's the only way to show I'm fine. But behind that smile lives a storm I don't speak about. The type of storm that threatens to destroy everything in its way. Yet small raindrops just come out.

I saw a chicken crossing the street

And said to myself

“That’s rather neat!”

So I asked him, why are you crossing here?

And he glared at me with a stare so real

Then he answered me appearing quite cross.
