I love the Truly Devious series! They're so interesting.

I found the space back in 2020,i believe it was made by a couple, they have added to it over time though the flood from last summer ripped up apart of the river that surrounded the area

This is incredibly impressive - your writing style and imagery is so perfectly beautiful and detailed! Your writing is so well constructed and I love how you portray Persephone's slow change in character by the end of this short work of fiction.

Ahh, what a picture this paints in its own right! The image of this man mixing up his colors, trying (and failing) to match the shade to the scenery, is somehow so... human! It put a smile on my face.

I'm sorry for your loss (that looks like a cool pot). At least you got a great picture out of it! The focus on that one chip is so precise.

This looks like absolute paradise! The color of that water, wow! I imagine it's very difficult to have a bad day taking a stroll on such a quaint little path there.

Odd, I used to know several people who referred to the sun as "Sun-Buddy." Eventually I picked up the phrase, too. Now that I've read your poem, it makes all the more sense to look upon the sun as a friend, or a lost friend, that can shine a brilliant light for you or make your eyes water, depending on the situation or the day. Great analogy.
